I am second generation defence officer as my father retired as a Brigadier from the Indian Army.My mother is house wife.My brother is an engineer and married.
The family has roots in Sangli District of Maharashtra ,
My parents have now settled down in Pune.
I am a vegetarian.
Pet loving.
Love gardening.

I had joined the Army as short service commission officer ,however i have now been selected for permanent commission in which I intend to serve upto 20 years .Out of which I have completed almost 12 years.

Presently I am posted in North East region of India.Yearly I do get two months of annual leave which can be staggered , I also get 20 days of causal leave in a year which again can be staggered.

I have been in the Army's Shooting and Horse Riding team and have won gold medals.

I have done anchoring for the Army Day parade and Vijay Divas at Delhi and Kolkata /Banglore for the last few years,
