Hi. My name is Aravinda. I was born in October 1983 at the university town of Manipal, located on the west coast of India. My father Dr. K. M. Bhat is a dental surgeon, and my mother Lakshmi M. Bhat is a homemaker. I studied English literature after school, and earned a BA, MA, M.Phil and Ph.D in the subject. I completed my PhD from The English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU).
Now I work as an Assistant Professor at The Department of Languages , Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Manipal. I teach literature and German language.
I enjoy reading, listening to music, walking and swimming.
 I have a visual impairment since early childhood, and work with the help of my computer which is enabled with a screen-reading software. My parents and sister have raised me to be a confident person . My sister is married and has two children. My brother-in-law is an Engineer working in Germany. My mother has read to me right from my early years, and this is how I got the impetus to build a career in literary studies. I navigate the world with confidence. I would not describe myself as an extrovert, but as someone who likes having conversation.

I am looking for a life partner who is well educated, and has completed her postgraduation. I’d like her to be broad-minded, share my passion in reading a variety of books and have wide interests. We are vegetarians, and it would be best if she enjoyed this kind of food
