He is son of Shri Indra Prakash Srivastava (Retired Manager, Prathma U.P. Gramin Bank), and Shrimati Anima Srivastava (Homemaker). He is proud Grand Son of Shri Shatrughan Lal Srivastava (Retired Principal, Sarvoday Inter College, Mihinpurwa, Bahraich) and Shrimati Sushila Srivastava (Housewife and a Scholar too).

He has only younger brother, who has also completed his academics and attempting competitive exams.
