Most people who know me well describe me as flexible, open-minded, helpful and humorous. I have seen many lows and some highs in life which have thankfully taught me things, humbled me and kept me grounded.

I don't evaluate people based on salary, background, religion, diet, physical appearance, education, etc. These are criteria used to bucket people instead of looking at their individual qualities.

I have worked in the IT field (mostly software development and maintenance) for many years and am fairly satisfied with my work. I have a BS in Computer Science along with an MBA. More so than anything else, I think this education has helped me become more rational, progressive and methodical. As a result, I approach things with a calm and neutral mindset and leave myself to being proven wrong.

My family consists of just myself and my mother. She divorced my father over three decades ago and recently retired from professional work. We have some family scattered throughout the US while the rest is in India.

Ideally, I would like my partner to be honest, open-minded, down-to-earth and non-judgmental as she can expect the same from me. I believe in a truly equal partnership with easy-going humor used in place of arguments to resolve differences. At the same, where differences exist, I would like for both of us to simply acknowledge and respect them. In a nutshell, just because we're married, we don't have to agree on everything as long as we find common ground to keep the journey going.
