About me

Hello, this is Raghu. I like to describe myself as a friendly, hardworking, organized, ambitious and self-made man. I have a doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in life sciences and currently work as a postdoctoral fellow in the U.S.A. I speak Telugu, English and Hindi. I am 33 years old, 5'4" in height and medium built. I have a tiny injury scar beside my right eye (Fell from a bicycle). I am a non-vegetarian: I never drank or smoked in my life, nor am I interested in doing them in the future. I consider myself health conscious although I respect everyone's food choices. I enjoy morning walks and moderate workouts. I have been doing this for the past 8yrs. My friends describe me as affectionate, kind-hearted, cheerful, open-minded and easy-going.
I have interests in reading, traveling to new places, hiking, playing different sports and watching movies. I love meeting new people, making friends, and always enjoy fun-filled conversations with friends and colleagues. I went on various road/hiking trips in India and U.S.A. and also visited Germany and France. A recent 7 hr road trip to Niagara Falls was amazing and I would love to travel the world with my partner. I am keen on ongoing national and international issues; I picked up this pursuit from my UPSC preparation and enjoy such occasional conversations with my friends.

Family

I come from a well-mannered middle-class family in Hyderabad. My father studied till 10th class and looks over agriculture on our land. My mother is a housewife. I have 3 siblings. My elder sister is happily married with 2 children. She has M.A. (B.Ed) and works as a hostel welfare officer with Telangana state Govt. My elder brother did B.Sc and runs his own business. He is married and has 2 cute little children. My younger brother did M.Tech and works as a software engineer. We all share a good bonding and love to get together during festivals and other occasions. My family lives in my native place, i.e., Tekmal, District: Medak, Hyd, Telangana.

About Life Partner Preferences:

I am looking for a life partner to connect with emotionally and mentally who would complement my nature and outlook. I would appreciate and respect if my partner is independent and has a balance in her personal and professional life. I would encourage her if she is aspirational and wishes to pursue her dreams. My partner should be someone with whom I feel like leading a happy and content life. I am searching for a person to nurture my life with love and harmony and I would do the same for her. I hope to find a cheerful person with a positive outlook on life also who is sensitive and humorous. A Horoscope match is not necessary for me.
