Personality - Interests and Hobbies

I love Apple products as my family were amongst the world’s first Mac based families. I love travelling for fun & education: I have seen practically the whole world and experienced various different cultures. I enjoy learning about Islam at every opportunity. I completed Hajj in 2011 and I attend Al Kauthar Islamic courses. I wish to complete Hajj with my future life partner inshallah as this will strengthen our relationship.

I love felines (we used to have a cat during our Warrington days). Maybe Allah SWT will bless us with another cute kitty someday!

I must admit that I am a super geek when it comes to sci-fi/Bollywood, as I have a slight obsession of watching re-runs of Star Trek, Knight Rider, Bollywood dramas and classic films. I have been known to sing Hindi songs on holiday!

I love wearing Desi attire (kurta pajama) as it is our culture (I never wear suits except for most interviews/day job). I also design some of my dresses and shoes! I also like keeping fit and enjoy going out to restaurants as I also love experimenting with different cuisines with mom and friends (my culinary skills are something I am really keen to develop). Other interests include horology (I have a rather nice watch collection), collecting sunglasses especially Maui Jim and Serengeti, theology, general knowledge, architecture, technology, computing (I have my own online presence), cricket, football, cycling, driving, and photography.
