We are Maithil Brahmins. Presently I stay in Noida. We are primarily from district Sitamarhi in Bihar. I have three sons and no daughter. My first son took admission in B. Tech. in Civil Engineering in IIT, Guwahati but chose to quit it in between. The above mentioned profile is for my second son. My third son did B. Tech. in CSE from IIT, Kharagpur and joined the Google Company through the Campus Interview. He worked in Australia in that company for six months and, after being transferred to the USA, has been working in the Google Company in the USA after that. I did five years integrated MS Physics and M. Tech. in Energy Studies, both from IIT, Delhi. My wife did M. Sc. and Ph. D., both from the University of Delhi.

We are searching for a candidate who likes to adhere to moral principles and refrains from things like smoking, drinking etc..

We are searching for a candidate who is intelligent. She need not be necessarily from the same academic field as that of my son. Even if she has shown her talent in such distant fields such as sports and music etc., that also will be a valid proof of her talent. But she should have shown her intelligence and capability in any field. In case she or her parents feel that she is extraordinarily brilliant and her academic performance, i.e., marks and certificates etc., doesn't reflect her talent then also we will like to consider that.

She need not be already residing in the USA but she should not be opposed to shifting to the USA after her marriage.

If the girl is a Brahmin by caste and unmarried then these will be considered as desirable features but such considerations will be easily relaxed in case of talented candidates.

If the bride is a divorcee then it would be desired that she should not be having a child.

Final decision should be taken by the boy and the girl but the initial assessment, at least from our side, will be performed by the parents, i.e., me and my wife.
