I really hate all these adverts saying that they are looking for the one, or they are sweet, kind, gentle etc. I don't like romantic movies, because they warp a persons perception of reality. I don't believe in love at first sight, I've had my heart broken once and I promised myself it would not happen again.I believe love is like an apple seed. You have to plant it in fertile soil, such as trust, respect, mutual understanding, sprinkled with a little bit of attraction. You then have to tend it, that means communicate, give affection, support each other and if your lucky it will bear fruit and grow. With me, love is something you will have to earn. I enjoy cooking and experiencing fine cuisine, I travelled and worked in France for a number of years until I finally came back to the UK and I am now a senior partner and head chef in a well established restaurant. I would like to travel their again so the person I am looking for should be willing to travel. I can be quite a challenging person so I would like someone who is looking for a challenge.
