Ours is a traditional iyengars Archakas family. We are blessed to perform kainkaryam to lord Rangantha at Magadi Sri Ranganatha Swamy. Our fore fathers would have migrated from tamilnadu and though our mother tongue is tamil we generally speak kannada at home. But we do speak tamil and it is not of purest tamil. I have one elder and younger brother and both of then are married. My elder brother works along with me and my father at Ranganatha Swamy temple. My younger brother is working at a multi national company located in bangalore. My mother is a housewife. I also do purohithyam (vaadhyar) for various religious functions. I got trained under various gurus at mysore and bangalore.
