I am a retired professor, poet, writer, blogger and my wife is a home maker. Manidip is my only son. We have tried our level best to groom him to be a prolific gentleman so to say. We belong to a reputed family of Bardhaman. Goddess Jagatdhatri has been worshiped at our home for more than 150 years. Most of my relatives are settled in different corners of home and abroad.
Our home is such a place where total peace prevails round the clock. My son too is a peace-loving person who always tries to avoid all sorts of contradictions and chaotic situations.

My parents are no more. My father was a bank employee and my mother was a home maker.

I had two sisters who had already demised quite prematurely. My elder brother is settled in Howrah.

Right now I have been living at my village home , 30 kms far from Bardhaman, after retirement.

My son is employed in SBI. He is posted right now in Dakshin Dinajpur.

We, the parents of Manidip, are in quest of a bride who is bubbling with elegance, spirit and joviality. She should follow our ancestral customs and rituals though we are not at all rigid by all means.We are a big family, a renowned one in Bardhaman. Hence we expect that our only bride will be amiable, social with a broad heart. We don't need pedantic affectations, rather we need a creative girl in all means.

To be too frank and without bragging we can say with full ease that we are in quest of a 'daughter' not a mere 'bride'. The only thing we aspire is that she would illumine our home and hearth with her radiant presence and a sweet simile will always hover on her lips in all weal and woe.
