Once you get into a relationship you plan a lot of things and you start expecting a lot of things from your partner. This is very obvious and natural human tendency to have expectations from your life partner. It is not the case that you have materialistic expectations from your partner, but you have emotional and other expectations as well (). I want to share some common expectations which we all have from our life partners.

I want my life partner to be understanding and supportive.
I want my life partner to behave like my friend not like a typical spouse who is more bothered about fulfilling his personal and other requirements.
I want my life partner to be caring and compassionate about me and things in life.
I want a life partner who is enough capable to handle and manage toughest situations with ease.
I want my life partner to be mentally strong, who will not change opinion and mind off and on.
I expect my life partner to be simple and loving. Who is not just bothered about self but concerned about me and family as well.
He should respect my individuality and give me enough space and freedom to enjoy my me time the way I want.
He should have trust in me, he should not spy me or behaves like James Bond who is all the time doubting me or spying on me.
I want him to be financial stable, so that he can lead a family by his own and doesn’t depend on his parents for financial help and support.
