Dhir was born in Trinidad & Tobago. We are a Bengali family of four: Parents, and two brothers.
Father is now retired and works part time as a lecturer and consultant engineer. Mother is a housewife. Younger brother is in his last year doing his Ph.D. at Cambridge University in UK in Engineering. Parents currently spend winters in Trinidad and summers in the UK.
We are very open about our tastes in Music (Indian to Western) and in food (Bengali and international - all four of us in the family cook!).
dhir's Bengali and Hindi are just ok - not very good at reading and writing. Friends describe Dhir as very patient and good tempered, loves the arts and music but enjoys medicine. He is considered easy going and friendly.
About Life Partner Preferences:
Can be of any community but fairly fluent in English. Willing to live outside of India and should be someone who may, if she so wants, work or study. Ideally, should have an artistic / intellectual inquiring mind should love to travel. Great if she has a hearty sense of humour.
