My son Arpan is a most gentle, decent & sincere boy. He is so soft & kind hearted that he shifts his eyes from scenes of extreme violence & gore in films. No smoking, no drinking & no vulgarity. In childhood, he would do painting of cars & trains. Later though he gave up painting, he developed intense interest on cars, trains and transport systems. An active member of Railway Fan Club & has a childlike passion about it. Once Mumbai Mirror interviewed him, published his photo & acknowledged that it used his photo of BEST bus. His car & scooter though old are always shining & look like new ones! Though he has good grip of current affairs all over the world, he is non political, non-intellectual. Enjoys watching Hindi comedy movies like Hera Pheri. And classic Bollywood movies. Likes travelling. His medium of education is primarily English, and Hindi. Fluent in Bengali, Hindi & English.

Mother BA, Diploma in Bus Admin in 1990. Yet chose to be a housewife. Certainly she would the most loving mother-in-law. Family has 2 properties in Mumbai & 4 BHK adjacent to Biswa Bangla Gate. One cousin in very high position in UK, another SBI officer. Though the monthly income of Arpan is modest (near Rs 6 lac a year), joint income of the nuclear family is near Rs 2 lac a month & lives in own flat. My wife & I are entitled to FREE medical care of Department of Atomic Energy; and my wife is entitled to very handsome FAMILY PENSION.
He has no sister. Younger brother (23) is AUTISTIC (a sort of behaviour disorder), lost in own world & communicates little. But is busy with guitar, swimming, gym & computer. He is as innocent as God & does not touch money. He is not only most obedient but handsome too. Family financially sound. So, there will be enough resources (3 properties + savings) for his younger brother. Not to worry on this ground at all. Not only my wife, our younger son too entitled for (i) Family Pension & (ii) Free Medical care provided by Department of Atomic Energy.

About Life Partner Preferences:

We expect the bride to be a nice caring & understanding human being. Educated & good looking. Height above 5' 3". If she is professionally qualified & will get a teaching or other job in Mumbai, its fine. If she chooses to be only homemaker assisting her mother-in-law, that's too is okay. Though we speak Bengali at home, we all are fluent in Hindi and a Hindi speaking non-Bengali bride too is acceptable. In fact Arpan cannot write or read Bengali. Casa Rio, Palava, the colony where is we live is one of the best colonies to live in India. Beautiful roads, temple, club house, library, shops, medical facilities. The riverside promenade close to out 20 storey tower is one of the best in the world. Here couples and even individuals move around even past 11 PM, its so secured so beautiful.
