My wife passed away last year after a heavenly marriage of almost 48 years. I have been a Vegetarian all my life, a non-smoker, a teetotaler, and extremely health conscious, consequently I look and feel much younger than my age. I do not even have eye glasses (near or far)

My only child (a daughter) is happily married, and lives with her family about 1000 miles away. I'm very close to her, to my two elder brothers, and their families. Also, I have very good relationship with my late wife's siblings and close relatives. All of them know and have been encouraging me to find a suitable companion (wife) to spend the life with.

I am a traditional person strongly believing in tradition and family values. I have been a strict vegetarian all my life, and expect my wife to be the same. I like to see and know people, cultures, and places; hence, I love travelling. I value Indian culture and history. I would be more than glad to furnish whatever other details needed upon request. About Life Partner Preferences:

My preference would be for a strict vegetarian. Jains would be preferred, but Hindus are acceptable. Again, Gujarati as a native language is desirable; however, Hindi is also acceptable. (Since I plan to live in the U.S., communication skills in English is a must). Also, age preference is between 55 - 69 years old. Height of 5'-1" to 5'-6" would be preferred. For marital status preference is for a widow, then a divorcee, for the simple reason that they have been in the family surrounding, and can understand and appreciate the family culture and values. As long as the person is a Jain or a Hindu, Caste is not very important.
Since I am physically in excellent shape, I would like to see the prospective bride to be physically active, who would love travelling. Details of mutual likings and disliking can be found by communicating over phone and video calls.
