One part of adventure, few scoops of life and liveliness, a tad bit of curiosity for the "weird" in our world, a dash of craziness for music and machines, a hint of absurd focus on those realms which people walk away from , a tad bit of fondness for nature, beer and animals ( despite me finding some to be yum) and a whole lot if zeal and enthusiasm to live each day as if the sun would not shine for me tomorrow.A lover of Cars, bikes, dogs, machines, efficiency, beer, music and art. I'm the finest kind of dilettante - I love machines but im hesitant to call myself an engineer ; I've studied philosophy but do not have any original ideas of my own; I enjoy playing music and painting but am loathe to adopt the title of "artist". I've come to realise I'm a bit of a hipster, but I think acknowledging that I am a hipster therefore voids the classification of being "hip", or at least I think that's how it works. I am the sum of my parts and also more. I've possessed the surety of youth, lost it in a pique of existential angst, barreled into a new life, and blindsidedly had my heart shattered and rebuilt anew. I like to think of myself as a house with a thousand rooms ; some I know well, others I've just discovered, and others are waiting for me to find the key. Some Idea's I've adopted, others I've discarded, and now I've settled myself rather comfortably as an amused connoisseur of human nature. I have measured opinions about a lot of things, though I offer them with the warning that thry are entirely subject to change and I will most certainly contradict myself if you talk to me enough. Call me out on that shit. A foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds, after all.There are occasions when I do like to indulge in self created luxuries. A roof top tent on my truck next to a lake on the mountains is luxury for me. As compared to a "fine dine 5 star" experience ( which is exactly how I define BORING ), a cozy cafe or a lively pub sounds much better. Hoildays for me involve travel, music, meeting new folks and visiting places which have scarce footfall. Sports keep me fit and I indulge in a lot of variety of sports, ranging from golf to skiing.I am habitual of questioning the humdrum existence of norms laid down by the folks we are surrounded with and I evolve on a daily basis driven by my existential needs. Yes I do get fiercely angry at follies and errors made here and there but calm down faster than an ice cream cone kept under the burning sun. The concept of right and wrong, good and bad, moral and immoral have a constant fight in my head as I perceive them to be an individualistic issue.
