How can I search for my partner on Vivaah.com Matrimonials? What are the search options available?
To search for your matrimonial partner you can use any of the following options:
Search By Religion and Caste allows you to quickly find partners on the basis of the country & State they live in, their religion, Caste and age.
Advanced Search option gives you more detailed search options. The additional search options include height, education, profession, marital status, whether they have children, complexion, etc.
Search By Community option allows you to quickly find partners on the basis of the country & State they live in, their religion, community, age and marital status.
Keyword Search allows you to find members with specific words in their profile;
Profession Search allows you to search for matches based on the profession.
Photo Club lets you view photographs of members and then view their profiles.
You can search Matrimonial Sites for communities, religions, castes, countries and states.
In what order are the partner search results listed?
The profiles are sorted on the basis of Last Login by default. In addition the various search options @ Vivaah provide feature to sort profiles based on Newest members First(newest profiles will be listed first) and With Photograph First (Profiles with photographs will be listed first).
How do I see contact numbers of other members?
By default Contact details of members are only shown once they accept or are accepted by another member.
In addition, for added privacy we also allow members to hide their contact details completely if they wish. In such cases, once your interest has been accepted, please use insite-messaging and request for contact details.
How can I see matrimonial profiles of other members whose partner profiles match with my personal profile?
Login to your My Vivaah Dashboard. You will find this option under Intelli Match.

Why am I not getting many messages and/or matches?
There can be many reasons why you are not receiving many responses. It is possible that your Profile does not match the member's matrimonial requirements specified in his/her Partner Preferences. Also, perhaps the member may be more interested in other partners at this time.
It is also a good idea to check what the member is looking for in his/her partner, before expressing interest in the member.
Why am I receiving messages and/or matches from members whose profiles don't match my preferences?
The most likely reason could be that the partner profile that you have created is not very specific. To receive more suitable matches and contacts make your partner profile more specific to your preferences.
Can I see any statistics about my matrimonial profile?
Yes. After you login all the statistics related to your profile are displayed on My Vivaah Dashboard.
Can I short-list profiles that I like on Vivaah.com Matrimonials and view them later?
Yes you can. The shortlist feature of Vivaah.com will help you do this. To use this feature, you need to be logged in. At the top of every profile listed in search results, click the option "Add to Shortlist".
To view the shortlist list. login to your My Vivaah Dashboard. You will find this option under My Contacts > Shortlist.
Can I write messages to other members free of charge?
Yes, you can. However please note that this feature can only be used to communicate with members on your accepted list.
